... I sit here with my cup of tea.

My cup of tea, isn't a regular one though. After a "kjerringråd", (which roughly can be transelated to bitchadvise, but it's not from an actual bitch, more like an old wise lady=P), from the new roomie in our apartement, Frida, I now have a cup of tea with whiskey and honey it. Also there is a secret ingridient (?), but its not really secret, I just cant remember the name.. =)

And if you're wondering, Yes it's actually good.

Since I have denied myself to access facebook until 10pm this evening, I'm sitting here writing on my blog instead. It makes more sence to write on my blog and commenting on earlier blogs and other peoples blogs, than to peek around on facebook doing nothing. Why I have denied myself access to facebook you ask? I got inspired by Mr. Sandnes' blog from yesterday and I though it made sence. I spend waaaaay to much time at facebook. If I'm done with everything on facebook, I will go looking for photos I can ad to facebook or something. I've asked myself why I do that some times. Why do I like to put my photos on facebook? I think the answer can be split.. I like to watch my own photos. I like that on facebook, I only put out the photos I think are the good ones from all of the photos I took- so, i dont have to look through all of them on my computer, I can just go on face and look at the 'best' ones. Third: I like it if others to like my photos, or have the upportunity to look at pictures from trips they might have been on, or stuff they to have seen. Fourth: On facebook you have a profile. You have a profile so people can see who you are, what you do, what you like and so on.. Me, I like taking photos. I take photos of things I like so i think its natural that I have a lot of photos in my profile. Just like I have photos on my: And so... Blog..

Now Die Hard is playing on Canal Plus Hits, and so.. I have now something to watch =) yeeeei. Still considering a walk outside in the rain though. If I decide to do so, I will listen to: Thom Yorke (singer of Radiohead) and his solo album: eraser. Specially the song: ...and it rained all night. I will probely also listen to radioheads album: in rainbows. Really good music for rainy days. Bon Iver with the album: For emma forever too is a good one.

Today too I will ad some photos. Theese are actually from today too. Me, Øystein and Magnar walked around for about 3 hours in Oslo today,
just taking photos and such.

...I am bored

I came home from work about ten. I sat down with my laptop, and checked out facebook. Not much new there, so what to do? I peeked around, looked at peoples photos, and then got bored. Then I made myself a late night snack, (because I was bored) which I have now eaten. Now I'm just gonna put out two photos I took about three years ago which I have picasaed a little:

And here's another one that iLike:

I'm still kind of bored, so maybe I'll go to bed.

.. I think its because

its relaxing. Ye, Lounge music is nice to just have in the background. I remember they played all day by the pool at the nicest hotel I've ever been to. My sister and I had just been over two weeks in Cuba, and so to relax a couple of days, we went to Cancun:

The funny thing, is that this wasn't even our hotel, it was the hotel next door. We just went there every day because it was so nice!

Anyways, back to the music and why I have begun to like this kind of music (lounge etc). I think its the 'right' kind of music in the right setting, just as some music is right at some parties, or when you're falling asleep and so on. I would rarely listen to lounge at parties. Just because I don't think its the fun type. But to relax, either its after work, in the morning or on th bus, ye: its great!

I'm like this with all music. For instance, my favorite music which is Post-Rock, I would never put on at parties, just because it isn't the right setting for that type of music. Post-Rock bands have looong, mostly instrumental songs and can be a little too long and 'boring' (?) for most people. Which is the reason why I don't play it. I don't need everybody to like the same as me, but I don't want others the mess the song up by being unpatient and switch in the middle of the song or something. The songs often build up to a sertain point were they take off, which I guess can have simularities with lounge, house etc. But when this is done in Post-Rock, I just get satisfied sort of. Or happy. And so, I mostly listen to this music by myself, or with somebody that can appreciate the same kind. This photo I took at a concert at one of my favorite Post-R bands which actually came to Oslo:
